Good morning! If you haven't already checked out my interview with Fashion Mamas, then here it is!

Sunday and I played dress up in a handful of looks and shot editorials all over mi casa. It's a light, fun read where I describe my decor choices for each room, from how I brought my taste of New York with me to LA, and where I hoard all of my shoes!

This was of course my favorite moment-- twirling and twirling in our matching tulle. Although, you will see in the article that Sunday and I raid her baby closet and leap around in a pile of faux fur and hair accessories-- that moment comes in a close second! I hope you enjoy the article!

Can you see the sweat beads dripping down my face? It's the result of chasing a wild yellow squiggly toddler around my dining room. Man... it doesn't get easier!

I'm so excited to share this shoot, as well as so many more looks, from an in depth interview I did with Fashion Mamas.

I do feel like I could play tennis with Cher Horowitz right about now... She would be so proud of the evolution of her signature look!

This black sheer overlay was a blank canvas for me. I didn't want to go the common route of pairing it over a white T, so I played around in my closet, throwing it over everything from a dusty Herve Leger bandage dress (it was a major cool moment that I must re-create ASAP), to jeans and a T for a chic'd up vibe. This sheer overlay is my new tall drink of water. ;)

Now that I think about it, it might even make an appearance at the beach tomorrow... 

Chasing after the speediest banana feet in spikey Louboutin sneakers is pretty much the story of my life. Besides, it makes for a pretty cute photo!

We've been loving the entire line of Freshly Picked moccasins. They actually stay on Sunday's feet... ALWAYS. I'll never forget a few months ago when I was strolling Sunday around the block and I saw a single baby shoe sitting on the side of the road. I wondered, "whoooo, and whyyyyyy?!"

Now that Sunday's walking running, I understand exactly why. These babies walk right out of their shoes, literally! 

But these Freshly Picked moccs are different. They fit Sunday's feet almost like a second layer of skin, and the elastic strap keeps the shoes secure on her chunky baby ankles. And can we discuss this adorable banana print?!

It's pretty hard for me to just put on a dress and shoes. {Ok, clearly by this photo I couldn't resist myself yet again-- I had to add the embroidered cardigan for some of the shots.}

But, I will admit, there is something special about a simple look. I naturally gravitate to separates because it allows me to mix and match a look to truly style an outfit as my own. A dress can feel so inside the box...so cookie cutter... so beige. 

But even I surprise myself sometimes with how easy a gorgeous dress can make for simple styling. It's really as easy as 1 (dress), 2 (heels), 3 (smile and go)! 

And in the blink of an eye... you're flawless...

Well this was cool! Sometimes it's just fun to bunker down in your own backyard or nearby park and set up a pretend picnic. Sunday and I utilized a good 45 minutes of playtime here-- setting up place settings, eating "food" (wooden food is delicious, don't ya know!), smelling flowers, and dressing like the pretty garden ladies we were always destined to be.

It seems like these wooden food shapes are the go-to for all babies and toddlers (shop them in my SHOP section below), and my new baby-friendly plates, silverware, and insulated food jar from SkipHop made for the perfect picnic setting.

Simply in my element! Vintage head to toe-- feels so right! This is what happiness tied up in a silk mandarin collar looks like! ;)

I hope everyone has a great week. I tried to find similar items to shop to recreate this look, but this is more of a, "just sayin' hi" kinda fashion post.

Trying to make light of the fact that I couldn't make it to Coachella this year, I shared a fun little Kidchella moment with my littles, instead. 

For Sunday, I wanted to give a nod to her father's obsession with the Grateful Dead paired with my love for tie dye, sunnies, and overly ridiculous accessories. Mission accomplished!

For Homer, well... he was easy breezy. His new "Beverly Hills Hotel Valet Parking Attendant Shirt" as we call it, was a clear match for the occasion. And Sunday even let him borrow a pair of her shades to complete the look.

I think it's safe to say that there will be more themed dress up moments to come... especially now that Sunday is starting to reach for mommy's handbags and shoes. ;) 

We can call this a mommy match made in heaven! <3
