Los Angeles can surprise me sometimes. Tucked away in my own Hollywood backyard sits a golf ball-roof-esque-old-hollywood-thang-of-a-momument. A "monument" is any focal point in LA that have something to do with movies, aka California history 101 through 401. Because, after all, what would this world be like without True Romance, The First Wives Club, and Clueless? (Basically, who needs Washington when you have Hollywood?!) Spoken from a true believer New Yorker.
I've lived here for three years and still don't really understand why the film industry is so.darn.serious. Regardless, I guess you could say I wouldn't have a styling career without movies, TV, or music, so I'm a happy bag-gal-plaid bird.
To all fellow-Hollywood'ers: A Los Angeles woman walks into a bar in a plaid suit....
Wait, that's the end of the joke...
