Wow!!! What a mind-blowing honor it is to be featured on Style.com right now. Style.com has always been my online fashion bible-- ever since my early college years as an intern in the Cosmopolitan magazine accessories closet. And now to be featured on the site? I'm completely over the moon.

But you know what? I am proud of my journey into becoming Elshane's World and even more proud that Style.com is sharing my story to inspire others. I'm so excited to show you the entire article here. Sometimes the New York in me really comes out to shine. You know, that Nolita street style that you just can't package and sell at a store. It comes from the hungry within-- the boss lady who knows what her day is going to entail, and dresses the part. 

Besides, mixing voluminously billowing MC Hammer-esque silhouettes doesn't scream sexy unless you let it. There's a bit of an art behind the mash-up. Here it goes...

So much of what I do as a fashion stylist is top secret until the day it broadcasts itself to millions of people worldwide. Watching these commercials is like my very own trip down memory lane-- it feels like ages ago...and yesterday at the same time. I remember suiting up that soldier, watching the sunrise on that aircraft carrier, blotting faux sweat stains on that Marine father, and playing over the top Star Trek dress-up with the man, the myth, the legend himself, "Bill". 

Here are just a few of the commercials I've styled over the last two months that just came out on television for all to enjoy. Red carpet glamour? No. Really f*$#*^^N fun to work on? Yes!

I crave color like Paris Hilton craves a #selfie on set of a music video. Bring it on-- more, more, more!

It's always been easy for me to pair wild prints together-- actually not much thought goes into the process. I find two prints that I like, and it usually works. In this case, I'd categorize both of these prints as "digi-square" {digital square} because they both look like they could have been brick walls straight out of a Mario Bros-esque video game in their past lives. In deepest conclusion, this commonality in print character makes them mesh well together.

I'm six weddings deep into wedding season, and it's only been five weeks! Good thing I have a wild, wild west wedding to look forward to next spring... in Istanbul!

I remember the last time I was in Turkey-- you could find me haggling with the tapestry dealers in the Grand Bazaar or {raging} like a classic American dancer with moves like Elaine Benes (old Seinfeld reference) at clubs on the Bopshorus after midnight. I took a hefty side trip to Bodrum, the Saint-Tropez of Turkey and spent most of my time tanning topless on boats and eating Manti (Turkey's finest #eeeeasts-- essentially, spaghetti Bolognese, dumpling style).

Here are a bunch of photos that I never released on Elshane's World. I categorized this as Home Decor/Lifestyle because this culture is so rich with color and architectural inspiration, that you can't help but invite these images into your home. Dig in...

I wish I could dive into the sagas of my day today and tell you all about the celebrity fashion fitting I had this morning with my cutie male client Jonathan Bennett from Mean Girls, or sparkle your brain with verbal imagery about the diamonds I pulled this afternoon for a lookbook I'm shooting for a fashion brand later this week, or divulge on a gush story about all of the messy but amazing construction going on in #elspanishoasis right now, but I'm honestly just too tired. 

Luckily, I wasn't as tired this morning-- so backtrack through some of today's feast on my instagram @elshanesworld and catch yo' self up!

At what point do you pencil in personal time, when business is all on your mind? Fast forward... at what point do you exchange your third glass of wine for a bottle of water and get back to work? 

I can't decide what's sexier-- staying in on a hyped out social night to catch up on work emails, or maxing out a few shots of tequila with your newly introduced and conveniently connected "bestie" while ripping seriously improved triceps that so happen to be peaking out from your new ALC jumpsuit.
