It was a Naomi Campbell-approved fashion jungle at the Balmain x H&M VIP preview shopping event in Los Angeles. Imagine celebrities, high profile fashion stylist, and reality stars in one room mauling each other over small, delicately stacked racks of leather, pearls, and studs. It was like a leopard, cheetah, and tiger fighting for each other's spots. 

Such was the case last week at the Balmain x H&M launch event-- but guess who came out victorious? Wink, wink {see above and below photos of me wearing a head to toe lewk}.

Although I can't link to these direct items to purchase on my site (unless you're willing to pay 5x retail price and scout the items on eBay), I've instead suggested similar pieces for friendly price points.

Moto leather pants are a must for a stylish wardrobe, and an updated pearl-encrusted shirt is a no-fail for this fall season. I scored with Balmain-- but you can too, by shopping below! 

I'm not one for a casual lewk-- but today I felt like blending in!

Peaking out from the top of my {maternity} jeans is a new accessory I'm getting used to rocking. It's small but mighty, and it demands a new way of styling. It's a 20-week baby bump... a bump that signifies that I'm half way there!

I opted for an untucked button down shirt over jeans to hide the little bulge. It's not big enough yet to roar loud and proud in a tight dress, so for now, hiding it will have to do.

I don't think I've gone this long without wearing a crop top for about 16 years. Free the belly!

Can life get any sweeter than head to toe matte sequins? 

Whether you roll head to toe or just pick one-- each of these sequin pieces are utter perfection. Notice on the pants and shirt that the sequins give off a multi-directional feel? That's done on purpose. Simply with the brush of your own hand, you can push the sequins into place to make them all one-directional or, what I did, an organized chaos of excitement. 

Not much else to say here. Wish I could wear this everyday...

Black and white and fresh all over. We're spotting this old school/new school simple combo pop up on runways and in street style all over the globe.

The best part of the black and white movement? It satisfies every fashionista's desire: splurge on a black and white designer handbag (luxury never goes out of style in black and white), or save on a timeless wear to work combo like this ruffle blouse and a-line skirt.

It's one of those trends where you physically cannot regret your purchase. Black and white items in your wardrobe always smile back at you...

This look was actually inspired by my little mini me to be. A little fur, a little chiffon, and a ton of twirling baby stars-- isn't that every little girl's fantasy? It still is mine...  

My blog has always been a reflection of my life, and now with this new chapter, it will be no different. Don't expect to see any less color explosions, turban experimentation, tequila party binges, or workouts in 25 inch pony tails. I'll never stop being me.  

But instead, I'm just adding a new dimension to my world. A destination site for the power chick working mom who wants it all...

I've put all of my crop tops, mini skirts, and party dresses aside... for the summer season is long gone and the new definition of sexy falls in line with words like chunky, thick, and nubby... sweaters that is!

It's almost as if the seasons change at just that perfect time where the thought of one more midriff-bearing shirt is complete foul play! {Or is it because football season lends to heavy on the beers and burgers?} Regardless, sweater season is here, and I like it!

I stepped onto that Austin, Texas high school football field and felt...

...some sort of need for a town gathering of epic Friday Night Lights proportions. There's just something about that big Texas sky and football. It feels right.

What else feels right? These hunter green leather culottes that are so fresh and fly for fall fashion. This tone of green is the "it" color for fall, as is anything leather in general. 

Half parts quirky, and half parts practical, you've got to get in my pants.
