Here's the story of a girl's love affair with a pair of leather jeans and a $1,000 bill. (No really, they make those now.)

It all started in Giuliana Rancic's Fashion Police dressing room in February 2012...

The E! glam squad, a crew of Barneys-obsessed LA-based makeup artists and hair stylists walked into our dressing room during a Fashion Police taping one morning like a troop Beverly Hills army in $900 denim and leather pants. 

These pants were like no other pants I had seen. Couldn't.Believe.My.Eyes. Leather along the "skinny" of the leg, and denim along the chubb rub? I wanted in. I needed in.

Spending $900 on a pair of pants was another story. I tried them on a few times at local shops and nearly bit the bullet each time. But I never could. Until...

R13 Denim has recreated this same pant season after season. Why?  It's the most innovative pant to have been introduced to the contemporary denim market in years (aside from joggers which is another love affair all together). And, they construct them like art. Art for legs. 

Nearly three years later and I finally got in their pants. Some could say I "saved up", "held out", "starved my legs for years", or simply, "took the plunge". No matter how you look at it, love is love, and my heart, and legs will never again be the same.
