A three minute bike ride from my home finds me regularly at the Melrose Place garden of Eden; a perfectly manicured landscape invites you into brick alley back streets home to Marni, Isabel Marant, Alexander McQueen, and the rest of the European Union. Their retail stores, that is.

It's as if a secret garden erupted inside of the world's largest walk-in closet.

When I see print, I get excited. Very excited. Overly excited.

A printed bomber in 90 degree heat? Bad idea. Splurging on a Fall '14 staple two months too early? Great idea. Oh, and it's on sale. Wait, what are you waiting for?

Quite possibly the biggest "eeeekkkk" moment when a white box arrived in the mail, with the message, "Dear Elshane, we'd love to see how you wear #mycalvins" from the marketing team at Calvin Klein. May as well been a signed NKOTB autograph of Marky Mark in there, too, for all I cared. Instantly, I threw my clothes off in pure joy and started jumping on my bed... until feathers were everywhere... {insert three days later and one friendly intern chucking endless feathers ripped from six white boas from my local costume store at my head.} Just what he signed up for...
