Rihanna in Giambattista Valli is breathtaking. I am bummed but not shocked to read that I'm in minority here (the instagram side-by-side's of Princess RiRi vs. a shower pouf are totally unnecessary). I couldn't disagree more. She is a vision in couture! #1 STUNNA!

Chrissy Teigen in Emilio Pucci is like a Hermes box underneath the Christmas tree right now... totally understated, chic, refined... yet you know once she's opened she's on fire! For the character that she is, I'm happy to see that she let her husband shine on his day, and didn't go overly glam like she could have.

For the exact reason that Chrissy killed it in her understated couture, I bring you the latest in Kim Kardashian overdone (yet perfectly glam) Jean Paul Gaultier. No hate will ever come out of my mouth for an overly glam lewk! Supporting your husband in JPG is something that I hope to achieve in my near future, too. Girl's got game, and I'm down to cheer for it.

It pains me to put Taylor Swift in this Elie Saab dress on my best dressed list, because it's not completely WOW. But, she looked flawless, took a risk with the shoes, and strayed from her typical tooth-fairy gowns, so for that reason, she gets my nod.

Sometimes I can't control the G inside of me. Something about gold chains and a fitted cap that just makes me want to do a {Jewish white girl} shimmy down the block.

That's the great thing about clothing-- it can really be that icing on your confidence cake. My gold chains are like my warrior shields, my magic fairy dust, my glass slippers. They make me feel most me. 

Do you have an item that you can't live without? How does it make you feel? I'm mainly asking because I'm genuinely curious how not everyone else feels exactly the same way I feel about gold chains...

Every activity is the perfect excuse for an outfit to match. Last Sunday I went to the driving range and the case here was no different.

Here's a list of some of my favorite places to "dress the part", and exactly what I'd wear...

Sunday Brunch. Always choose chic over cheap. A floaty knee length skirt, kitten heel, tailored blouse. Cat eye sunnies and structured box clutch. Sort of like Breakfast at Tiffany's... but more like Breakfast at Elshane's... 

Friday Night Date Night (Dinner and Movie Style). Play up wifey-chic in your most flattering denim, a comfortable but sexy walking heel, tucked in tailored blouse, and a trés expensive jacket that you wouldn't wear to a beer-spilling bar. Save those LBD's for Date Night (Nightclub Edition). 

Professional Sporting Game: Don't even get me started here, NO better place to shine! Backwards hat, great eye makeup, crop top, high waisted A-line mini skirt, thigh high socks, wedge sneakers, and a Tokyo-approved backpack. It's like, you could get on the field, but you'd rather drink Rosé and watch from the box seats...

First Impression Dinner (Work Environment): Kill 'em with chicness but play with prints and color. Pencil skirt, fitted top in mixed patterns. Your perfect killer designer heel. A mix of Victoria Beckham and Carrie Bradshaw. Yes!

The Roller Disco: Channel that inner Beyoncé. Printed leggings layered under cut-off jean shorts. Wild, wild hair. Wild, wild smile.

This is my "I can't wait for the Super Bowl" face. Give me a reason to daytime celebrate and I'll give you 10 shots of tequila reasons to hang by my side. 

This year we were going to extend our annual Super Bowl rager-- last year's was equip with a basketball dunk bouncy castle and a hella-lotta beer pong-- but unfortunately our new #elspanishoasis custom living room couch won't be delivered in time. This hostess doesn't host a party without seating.

So we're giving it a rest this year, and planning to make the most of Uber and our friend's sweet house in the Hollywood hills...

So then this happened... 

I was popping in by my favorite fashion PR firm last week, Infinity Creative Agency, when I melted and resurged like a chic, fashionable, yet still carrot in tow Olaf reincarnation (#frozenreference) once I laid my very 20/20 Lasik'd eyes upon these Charlotte Simone fur treasures. I could hardly walk out the door with the items in tow without begging for an impromptu "wall session" {moment with just me, a killer wall, and a friend with a camera.} 

#HollywoodHomer so happened to be my arm candy that day, so he wasn't too keen on being second fiddle on another ball o' fur. He will always be #1 in my heart, but I can't deny that this handbag and scarf come in a close second...

Lupita Nyong'o is wearing a Giambattista Valli haute couture dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, a Judith Leiber bag, and Chopard jewelry.

Finally femininity hits the carpet in the form of whimsy florals! I have always despised the dreaded and overly done feminine full skirt ball gown. This is the perfect replacement look. 

Amal Clooney is wearing a Dior couture dress, Harry Winston jewelry, and her own gloves.

I have melted and gone to arm candy heaven. I will have fashion dreams about this moment tonight in my deep fashionable sleep.

Emma Stone is wearing a Lanvin jumpsuit,Christian Louboutin shoes, a Lanvin clutch, Lorraine Schwartz earrings, and Ofira rings.

This look is very average without the bow. But this "bow moment" puts Emma at the top of her class. This is "bad a$$ bossy boo right here!

Melissa McCarthy is wearing her own clothing line, a highly anticipated line not yet launched to the public.

Despite her loosing double digits of lbs, she's still a plus-sized chica. And a plus-sized chica rocking a menswear-inspired look, while still maintaining a true air of femininity? Home. Run.

What makes a leather jacket look "rich"? Is it the hardware? The texture of the leather? The overall way it falls off your shoulders?

I put this too fly to stand by slashed leather Nasty Gal moto coat to the test all day and night. I couldn't escape the raised eyebrows and whispers from jealie girls all around. Chicks dug the digs, thinking it was SO RICH that they pretended to know exactly which Intermix rack it slipped off of. {You know those comments? Something along the lines of, "That coat is so major-- props for the splurge!"}

Of course my natural response is always a genuine smile. Major realness!

I've been experimenting with my skirt game lately. Instead of my typical tuck in or crop top, I'm layering boxy oversized tops over my skirts, the hem hitting at the small of my waist. It's sort of a nod to my tomboy heart that battles daily with my fiery feminine{ist} brain.
