Yes, I have huge feet. The secret is out.
But, how many people can say they are blessed to own a necklace that bears countless camel teeth?
I found this necklace in an amazing costume jewelry store in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar last month. The shtick of the Bazaar is that you are to befriend the sellers over Turkish tea (and delights!), and work together to get the best deal on each piece. We fought and fought for this necklace.
Our store owner was a young immigrant and we fell in love with his sincerity. He told us about his animosity towards New Yorkers but that we showed him a side of pure love. The love was so mutual. He wrote an email to his family about us. He showed us photos of beautiful mosques and ancient temples from his homeland. Costume jewelry can heal the world.
