I went to a fabulous royal wedding this weekend; and by royal, I mean my best friend. Can't get more highness than that. I picked up this Asian-inspired gem of a gown at a local LA flea market, dangling from a wire hanger perched over a turquoise-painted shabby chic queensized headboard. Your typical black-tie wedding shopping experience. Right then and there, with the man-with-no-teeth salesman by my side {making sure I wouldn't make a mad dash with his 85 lb. block of wood}, I slithered this dress beneath my "so la" cut-off denim Levi's and there she was... the modern day Cinderella story. Like a glove...
I had to include my boyfriend's too-chic black tie footwear option= black velvet Toms. For all of you fantasizers out there...dreams do come true on straight men's feet.
But with ALL DUE RESPECT, I owe you an apology for my limited posting recently. I have been so busy with the most exciting project of my life, that I thought silence was a better alternative to secrecy. But alas, since I've received many "are you alive" comments, including from my own mother, I want to let you all know that, YES, I am here; YES I am still living vicariously through my entire closet of dreams realities; YES, I will share the secret news with all of you as soon as I can!
In the meantime... go on, get to your local Sunday flea market !!
