For anyone out there whose favorite holiday isn't Halloween.... well, I don't really know what to say to you. You're only redeemed if July 4th or St. Patty's Day is a close second. Or if you solicit @elshanesnaps to get 10k more followers on Instagram.

Whether it be ghosts and goblins, or naturally, American Flags and four leaf clovers, you can't let a holiday go by without wearing its true colors.

I always focus my spooky costumes around a D-I-Y headpiece-- something larger than life. This year, naturally, I went for a beaming sun!

A trip to Michael's craft store and $46 later, I had a killer project ahead of me.

Little did I know how many people in this world think the sun looks like the Statue of Liberty. Really?? Last time I checked my 3rd grade history book, Lady Liberty was green... A sun, as we learned that year as well, was yellow.

Thank you to all of the attendees of the costume party I went to who crushed my dreams. I was not Lady Liberty... I was a glistening, beaming, natural energy SUNNY SUNSHINE!
