Wide leg pants excite me beyond words! I feel like Mary Tyler Moore or an off-shoot of the cover of The Beatles Abbey Road album. They're dramatic and powerful, and they speak a different language with every step you take.
It's clear that Karl Lagerfeld played a large inspiration here. I wear every single piece in this look to death, but this is the first time I've put them together so literally to scream KAAARL!! The bow blouse is a classic-- I typically wear it tucked into a high waisted pencil skirt layered underneath a cropped sweater. The jacket is an easy add-on to skinny jeans. But in the end, it's all about the tuxedo pant. Ohhh, the wide leg pant...
Did I forget to mention that my vintage Chanel 1980's runway handbag was a top find of the century? It's see-through and for this look I lined it with a Chanel scarf. I usually fill it with color-blocked makeup cases of different dimensions. But we can talk about that later.
