I'm in a tight mini skirt. EEK! What has LA done to me? But the texture is rich and the skirt was cheap, so I splurged. Paired with a loose-fitting tank and an O-M-G jacket and boots, it just works. To all of my NY friends, it's still me, elshane. Look, I'm in my turban! It's still me! *whistle*
My turban is one of my favorite head wraps. I purchased it at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey last September 2010. I typically wear it...all of the time. With a t-shirt and jeans, colored flats, and a mismatching handbag. Just a typical elshane day hitting the street.
Only, on the LA streets, a turban won't get you a whistle.
But a mini skirt will.
