Possibly my most favorite part of growing up* in the NYC fashion industry {*starting as an assistant at a major fashion house} has been the friendships that have formed between all of my fellow past assistants {circa 2006} of the stylists I worked with daily. As we grow and mature in the industry, we have passed the assistant title on to our new assistants, and laugh about all of the running... sprinting... sweating... steamer burning... erratic emailing...and expolsive heart beating that formed our memorable friendships from the start. We watch eachother climb to the top, and cheer for every step along the way.
My three dear friends, and past coveted stylist assistants to the MAAA-JOR Joe Zee, Annabel Tollman, and Rachel Zoe, have recently branched out on their own to style the stars and are K-I-L-L-I-N-G it! I am so proud to feature the styling work of Annie Ladino, Danielle Nachmani, and Brad Goreski, respectively, at the 2011 MET Ball. Can we say best dressed for each of their clients? Ok, but seriously... Brooklyn Decker...breakout style star of the year!
I'm a proud supporter, colleague, cheerleader; but mostly, friend.
