You, and you, and you (and you) caught me. Wearing this look. Again. I know. I saw you in New York. I saw you in LA. I saw you again in LA. What to do when a girl's got one pair of pants and many dates?
By one pair of pants, I literally mean...one pair of pants. My piles and piles of jeans and I are in a one-sided fight. They love me, but I don't love them back right now. Two visits later to TopShop, and still no new updates to this February '11 style. Not my fault. It's the tragic case of the elshane measles all over again.
I took an impromptu trip to New York this weekend and had some city fun with friends, followed by Long Island fun with my family at my house. Always a good background for a shoot.
The D.I.Y. turban was an easy $7 solution from Forever 21. Wrapped twice around my head in an X-shape, tied in the back, and my look was complete. My Sally Hansen nails are my new "thing". For $9 at your local drugstore, you can pick up this genius nail-art wallpaper and self-apply all day and night. I dreamed of Minx for years, but always opted for the instant gratification of an order of Waverly Inn's truffle mac n' cheese over the 7-day manicure, both $70...
Lastly...the sunnies! How could I forget. Stop by Flying A in SoHo and pick up your very own pair for $25. Or buy three pairs... or get an order of truffle mac n' cheese... or a Minx manicure.
You get the point.
