HARLEM SHAKE

The scenery in Manhattan is endless. So I wish shooting in Harlem was really as easy as it looks here. One crosstown bus, three subway transfers, and one steep long downhill Riverside Drive walk later, with an overstuffed wheelie suitcase in tow, I reached this breathtaking escape.
I have such a crush on color. Pairing hues, mixing the inharmonious, and just sometimes, surrendering to a natural exact match. The red turban, the red handbag, the red soles peaking from underneath my boots, the red lips...surrounded by much chaos, there is so much beauty in order.

And why I didn't just take a cab? This is a hobby, people... There's no petty cash in blogging.
