From a post a few days ago, you saw that I was to be GLAMBASSADOR of the highly acclaimed Directives West #FIRSTLA fashion show, to kick off LA Fashion Week. Here I am sitting with some fellow bloggers, including GLAMBASSADOR'S Kristen @Glitter_n_Glue (second to right) and Kelly Lee @BussBussKelly (far right). Now for a journey through the evening...

The trends highlighted were:
Social Heritage: crisp basics, delicate heirloom wovens: a romanticized expression of roll-up-your-sleeve attitude, leisure and effortless dressing.
World Treasures: diversifying your look through multicultural escapes and limitless boundries:  Eastern influences, Sahara sands-- mixed with strength and grace.
Rapture: Striking imagery, clashing graphics, mismatched combinations; fluidity seeps through this hyperactivity in new zenith dimentions.
The Sophisticate: Futuristic minimalism (think Emma Stone in my FAV red carpet look of the year); a deconstructed and transparent world where harmony and composure shine on structured fabrics.
This night was SUPER-GLAM!

And ended with me getting a huge ice cream cone like after a gymnastics recital in elementary school.
