An ironic setting this came to be... standing atop the train station in Chinatown, Los Angeles in (quite comfortable) sky high heels, people watching.

I used to be that very girl in NYC, heels in tow, waiting for the next subway to take me from work to cocktails, from cocktails to shopping. But in LA? This was new to me.

Good thing I had on a trusty denim skirt-- an item that no spring closet should be without. Best paired with a white tee and your favorite kicks, it's a full-proof fashion-meets-comfort zone. 

Best part of a denim skirt? It's a style that's here to stay.
