Ok... rewind. THIS HAPPENED!
Last night, I was at the Teen Choice Awards 2012 to style my {biggest pop star oh how I love you} client, Carly Rae Jepsen. She was nominated for Breakout Artist, Summer Song, and Summer Music Star {she won the first two}!
An interview with Carly Rae from today's InStyle describes the evening:
“She’s my stylist and one of my really good friends,” the singer told InStyle.com recently. “She’s my match made in heaven. She shows up and it’s one less stress for me. It’s always my size and something that I love. I’m lucky to have her.” So, for last night’s Teen Choice Awards, Shane dressed the 26-year-old in two playful California girl looks—a palm tree print Lisa Ho blazer and shorts for the red carpet and a polka-dot Ani Lee romper accessorized with an oversize bicycle charm necklace for her live performance. “The one rule we have is that you’ve got to feel comfortable,” Jepsen said of her style. “You’ve got to have fun with it and not be afraid to try new things.”

She performed the finale, singing "Call Me Maybe", with her four amazing bandmates, four backup dancers, and backup singer {all styled by yours truly}.
Her red carpet look hit just as big as her song, in a Lisa Ho palm tree suit with a {so fresh so fly} Kate Spade pineapple clutch. Mele Kalikimaka!
Her performance look was designed by {yours truly} with the guidance and tools of designer friend, Ani Lee!
We rocked our way through the show and hit the town for a mah-ja, all deserving celebration!!
