Floral chiffon gown while snow still lingers on the ground? My head is in LA mode. I'm all packed, boxed, sealed...breathing in the final moments of this extra-extravagant New York wind chill.
The rouging on this gown doesn't fall in the most flatteringly feminine spots-- around the hips, around the knees...it's a piece that has much hanger appeal, but doesn't do the body proper justice. A cinched waist belt can resolve its bulkiness while maintaining the integrity of the drapey garment.
I think I'm ready for an afternoon wine vineyard wedding reception in this get-up. Need to make some friends in Santa Barbara, first. Thoughts?
