A crochet piece like this is not something you find everyday. So when it conveniently fell into my lap while rummaging through old inspiration boxes at a sample sale, I knew it was meant for something greater than afternoon tea.


Clothing with movement can really turn a mood from great to greater. I spun and spun in that dress until I just could not spin anymore. I felt like I was twirling through my very own secret garden in Gramercy Park...except, that's a private park and I don't have the key. I stood on raised steps outside and peaked into my fantasy through the cast iron gates.
