Molly Sims has mastered the perfect dewy skin and healthy long blonde locks, and I don’t let a day go by without reminding her. Our relationship goes back seven years, when I handled Public Relations for Diane von Furstenberg in NYC. Since then, Molly has let her beauty secrets slide to me, one by one.

But, hey! My readers deserve to have the shot at a model-like glow, too! So I sat down with Molly last week in Los Angeles to get a Q&A breakdown of her favorite beauty products for an on-the-go-gal like us, and why...

ELSHANE:  What are your top beauty essentials that fit in your carry-on suitcase?

MOLLY SIMS: Alright, so I’m all about a little bottle!

Dry Texturizing Hair Spray from Oribe, it’s a mixture of a dry shampoo and texturizer.

ELSHANE: That Oribe brand smells UHHH-MAZING! {Unarguably the greatest smelling haircare line of all time. Fact.}

MOLLY SIMS: I also love Prep Spray by Bumble and Bumble. It’s a good {hair} volumizer, and it comes in a really small container which is really nice.

I also am very into spray {body} oil. I love Bio-Oil products but the one I love the most is from a company called NUXE. It’s beautiful; it’s kind of a golden spray oil. It's great for legs especially going into summer. It can get a little messy so be careful!

ELSHANE: Do you use your spray oil every day? {Because I do!}

MOLLY SIMS: When I was pregnant I found myself putting it all over my body and I loved it! I don’t think it's for every day because it’s a bit heavy. But summer is coming! You’re starting to have bare legs, so it's definitely something to dry brush on and wear a long pajama to ease in...

ELSHANE: Do you pack a face cream?

MOLLY SIMS: You know I do! A lot of the time I scoop some of it and put it in a smaller container.

I love the Cure Sheer Cream from Natura Bisse. It’s a must-have to mix in with a foundation or tinted moisture, depending on how much coverage you want. It gives you the perfect dewiness. People always ask what I’ve done to my skin but it’s really just that cream.

Also, I love the Veil Mineral Primer by Hourglass.  It helps my makeup stay on longer.

I love Rose Balm BY TERRY.  I know it’s a little bit expensive, but you’ll have it for like a year, it’s amazing! {I had to google this because I had never heard of it. It's a smoothing, plumping and protective "cult-classic lip treatment" and must-have favorite of Hollywood stars, $60.}

{And then a miracle happened…. Molly shed the most genius jewelry-packing tip with me. As a fashion stylist, I was blown away. How have I not heard of this trick before?!}

MOLLY SIMS: A great little trick for packing is putting your necklaces through straws so they don’t get tangled. Because I am always on the go and I love to take all my stuff, but it always gets so tangled if I just throw it in the bag. Take like five plastic straws and I’m telling you it works!
